Information we collect
- Search requests. The zip code and distance you submit to the search box, and the IP address the request came from, are used only to compute which firms are nearby.
- Inquiry forms. If you contact a firm through a listing, we store the name, email, phone and message you entered so the firm can respond.
- Review submissions. Name, email, rating and review text. The email address is never published; the name and review text are shown once a reviewer approves them.
- Aggregate logs. Aggregate, anonymised request counts used to understand which pages are useful. IP addresses are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text.
How we use it
To operate the directory: to show you nearby law firms, to forward your inquiry to the firm you contacted, to publish reviews you have written, and to prevent spam and abuse. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising cookies of its own. If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors (such as Google) may set cookies to serve and measure ads, governed by their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings.
Third-party services
Map tiles are served by OpenStreetMap contributors, and form submissions may use the reCAPTCHA service. These providers process data under their own policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete any information you have submitted, including a review, by writing to us from the email address used. We will action verified requests promptly.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
